Live Strong and Long is a volunteer project by some gay members of non-profit organization Bay Area Vegetarians. We want to share our knowledge and experience of the benefits of a plant-based diet with our friends and loved ones in the community, particularly those with special health concerns.

Bay Area Vegetarians has been a San Francisco Pride Celebration exhibitor since 2003. Our booth generates tremendous interest and is one of our most successful outreach programs. At the 2007 Celebration and Parade, our volunteers distributed approximately 10,000 pieces of literature!
